This week's book giveaway is in the Testing forum. We're giving away four copies of The Way of the Web Tester: A Beginner's Guide to Automating Tests and have Jonathan Rasmusson on-line! See this thread for details.
I am maintaining an older web app that is comprised of JSPs and JavaBeans. It is deployed on iPlanet 4.1 and is not in the war file format due to what appears to be this version's limitation on supporting wars. So there is no web.xml, WEB-INF, or taglib descriptors though we are using tags.
We are not planning on upgrading or migrating to anything else anytime soon so I am curious if I can use JSTL with this version of iPlanet. I am thinking no so far, but want to check with people that may have used this configuration before. I have been told by other members of the team that this version of iPlanet will not support struts due to the issues I've listed above and figure this probably applies to JSTL too.
