Another thing I've seen on other java forums are ways that the initial poster can mark a question they posted as 'answered'. I don't know if you can/want to do this, but it would be helpful when scanning through messages to see if you can help a fellow programmer. It would be easier to see where help is still needed, and where help has been found.

Well, sometimes it takes more than one correct "answer" to really resolve the question.

Also the aim here is to promote discussion ... marking a question as "Answered" would discourage people from posting a different way of achieving the same result.
