Hi all

Can anyone provide me information about LDAP Server

I need an LDAP Server to be installed and configured....
and it should be connected with the browser(LDAP browser)

Can anyone tell me what are the Prerequisites to install LDAP Server and how to go about that!

It all depends on what you are going to use it for. There are a number of different LDAP servers out there, commercial as well as free.

Have a look at OpenLDAP, that's a good, free alternative. As for the commercial alternatives, Sun has a Directory Server and there's also the option of using Microsoft's Active Directory (AD) for some applications.
