How to get excel's attribute, using poi ?

hello everyone
I want to use poi to get excel's attributes and show those in a jsp page
but I just know little about excel's attributes like getcellvalue(),getcellstyle(),ect .
how can I get all the attributes?Please help me to start this up,any example you may have or some documents would be really good help.

I am not sure what attributes are you referring to...but to start off..
