Can we Use Notification by email or any other means in slide for checkin or checkout

Hi Guys,
I am using Slide as repositroy in my project.

I want to add feature for giving notification

as mail or by any other way ..

So that Admin can understand who had checked in files

or cheked out the files.

Also can mark tag on files in version control?

If anybody is having idea about this Please guide me..
