Job Description:
Engineering position to assist in developing Solaris Logical Volume Management (SLVM) WBEM interface.
Contractor to work directly with the Senior Staff Engineer to produce an API, based on WBEM/CIM for SLVM. Work involves completion of research, design, code,
test, and documentation while meeting quality and schedule objectives. In Phase 1 of the project, contractor to provide all necessary interfaces for SLVM GUI operation. Phase 2 will expand this set of APIs to enable a broader set of modifications to be carried out. This contract will encompass the completion of Phase 1.
Required Skills:
C, UNIX, JAVA/JNI.
Java candidates that have written a system library in C (not C++) on Solaris. Solaris.
Nice to have Skills: OOD, DiskSuite, WBEM, CIM, SNMP, TMI
Other Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the US.
