Job Description:
Contractor to develop application systems/software with the primary purpose of supporting operational Data Stores type applications. Individual needs to have the ability to design and maintain new and existing systems. Special considerations to be made in order to handle the high volumes of transactions, both from the query and posting of data sides of the application. Data is posted to a variety of Oracle tables that are accessible to internal customers on the INTRANET. The systems need to process high volumes of data; post the data to a myriad table; run queries on the data; and provide responses to millions of data rows in seconds or minutes. The ideal candidate will be someone who works well with other people and is interested in a full-time position at the end of the contract.
Required Skills:
Contractor needs to have solid work experience with full lifecycle software development skills; the ability to analyze, design, code, test and implement systems. This person needs to have an excellent working knowledge of UNIX, C++ Rational
Rose, SQL,
JAVA, HTML, TUXEDO, and Oracle.
Other Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the US.
