I heard that like tomcat, jetty is the product from apache.

Is Jetty a web/application server?

Can i use jetty with other application servers?

what is so special about jetty?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Naresh.

Jetty is not from Apache, but from Mortbay. It is a web server and servlet container, like Tomcat and Resin.

I'm not aware that there is anything particularly special about it, but then, I've never used it seriously. Maybe Mortbay's web site will tell you about that.
