Our client is an established Services company focusing on e-business solutions. They are seeking motivated entrepreneurial people to come in on the Ground floor to forge a world-class solutions company.
ALL EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PRE-IPO STOCK OPTIONS.
They are seeking experienced Java or Visual Basic Developers.
MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF HANDS-ON DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE WITH JAVA or Visual Basic.
Primary Responsibilities:
A Consultant is responsible for supporting client business Web application development
Consultants work directly with clients in a variety of industries developing software applications to solve critical business problems.
The consultant serves as a key project resource on post-sales customers and is also responsible for communicating customer needs to the internal groups including Development, Technical Support, Sales and Product Management.
Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on development experience with JAVA or Visual Basic

Candidates should have most of the following characteristics/experience:
 1-5 years development experience with a GUI-based development 4GL (Visual Basic, PowerBuilder) or object-oriented 3GL (C++, Java)
 Solid knowledge of at least one of the following platforms: PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, Java
 Ability to be self-taught and learn hands-on
 Have a strong understanding of object-oriented development techniques
 Understand the concerns for distributing a multi-tier system
 Understand the use of frameworks and their benefits
 Data modeling or object modeling experience
Relocation is required to the general Boston area.
University Degree is required
Salary Range: 70-110K Plus 15%-20% Bonus
Eligible for pre-IPO stock options
3 weeks vacation
US citizen or Green Card Only
