nextHR.com is an e*Services company located in Roswell, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia). We are a a recently, formed business unit that is focusing on Internet �e-service� delivery. Aside from a burning entrepreneurial spirit, the following list of skills are necessary:
This position will be responsible for the design and development of new web-based products using Java, XML, OO Analysis and Design, OO Design Patterns and other Internet technology.

Required Skills:
3 years plus experience, Java, XML, "OO Analysis ", "OO Design ", CGI, C, C++, ASP, NT, Unix, Oracle, SQL
Job Description:
Candidates must have a strong OO background and experience in OOD/OOP application design and development (2 Years)
Familiarity with object modeling (Rational Rose, UML), and Web servlet (CGI) using Java, C/C++, Perl or ASP and, NT/UNIX.
Additional requirements include: experience with protocols (HTTP, IIOP, RMIP, etc.), distributed computing, client/server computing, n-tiered computing, distributed computing mechanisms (RMI, CORBA, JNDI, etc.), firewall tunneling mechanisms, multi-threaded socket programming, server programming, XML (SAX, DOM, etc.), language data binding and schemas (with XML), JDBC and relational database experience.
Also, knowledge of the following APIs: Swing, Servlet, RMI, core Java2, Collections, SAX, DOM, Reflection.
Desired skills:
HTTP, RMIP, muti-threaded socket, XML
Salary Range:
$70,000 to $100,000 DOE

Interesting.
Required Skills and Desired Skills seem to both have XML listed.
ASP is the tool that is going to be used or is JSP (Java Server Pages) going to be used? ASP is a Microsoft approach.
Also, CGI and Servlets are not the same thing.
"Web servlet (CGI)" <-- Is this implying they are the same?
