(I found this on a mailing list and thought I'd share. I'm gonna try to get in on some of this here in Denver)
Subject: [djug] Nova Labs Java Developer Kitchens
Date: Mon, 15 Feb 1999 13:46:20 -0800 (PST)
From: Charles Bradley <>
Everything you ever wanted to know about Nova Labs' upcoming Java
training. I highly recommend these sessions. The short ones (1 day)
are more informational/lecture than hands on, but they really pack a
power punch in terms of coming up to speed with the latest and
greatest Java technologies(in this case, Java2 and JFC/Swing). The
EJB course is more hands on.
Notice the text about discounts below. Nova is giving us the
equivalent of a corporate discount for their training. I'll be there,
and hopefully you will too!! Also, notice the free EJB Developer's
guide, which I also recommend.
Dan, please pass on to all of the Dallas Java folks.
Happy Java!

Actually if they just write "Denver JUG"
or "Dallas JUG" on the top of their reg form we'll give them the
discount. It's pretty straightforward - we try to keep it simple!
Any contact you have woth the Dallas JUG will be great!
Are you coming to the Denver event? I think I'll be at that one.
If you are, please bring flyers for your JUG, or I can give you a few
minutes in class to pitch for membership. I appreciate your help
and recommendation. See below for the letter, and get in touch with
any questions. Slice out whatever you want from below - I thought your
members might like the Developer's Guide to Understanding EJB - it's
free on our site as well.
Thanks again!
