Actually it isn't that hard to be in the top 50 in the UK. Their system is screwed up so it takes forever to get reviews posted so people who posted early had a big advantage. Also not many people review over there for some reason.
Note: the reason I started publishing my reviews over there was because a friend of mine in the UK from the amazon reviewers board complained to me that the only way he could see reviews was to go to the US site. So some of us started posting our reviews there.

Yes, I noticed that last time I was on Amazon uk, Tom. The reviews are appreciated. In fact I just bought a JSTL book on your say-so yesterday. The thin cheap one....
