Hi,

Does anyone have the complete set of solutions to the "Sharpen your pencil" exercises in Headfirst Java? The PDF on the whickedlysmart website only contains the first half?

Cheers,

Robert.

Hi Robert, welcome to Javaranch!

I'm going to move your post to a different forum where the authors of HF Java are more likely to see your question.

Hang on...

Thanks Pauline, hi Robert,

Teachers asked us not to provide answers to all of the "sharpens" - the book is often used as a textbook, and this helps teachers by providing built-in testing and/or homework examples.

Robert, we hope you enjoy the book.

Is there a particular web forum for Head First Java?
I've read through Head First HTML and have checked out the forums at http://www.headfirstlabs.com but there isn't one for Head First Java.

I also checked out http://www.wickedlysmart.com/ and found no forums.

I know that there are forums here for various topics regarding java and OO which gets mentioned in the book but I was wondering if there was a particular forum just for the book.

Thanks.

-Mike

Hi Michael, welcome to Javaranch!

No, there isn't a forum especially for Head First Java. For specific questions about Java you're probably best off posting them in the Java In General forums (beginner/intermediate). For more general stuff about the book (like who is that babe on page ...?! or when is the next edition finally coming out? ) you're probably better off here in the Bunkhouse Porch. Whatever you do, though, you'll be taken care of.

And we ask you to please provide a solution for all "sharpens".If instructors wont prepare homworks on their own , who will?

Your post was moved to a new topic.

But how did the elephant get like that? What did you do? I think all we can do now is read this tiny ad:
