Now, as to your question: it would help iof you described your degree program a bit. What does "Web engineering" entail, exactly? What have you learned about, and what will you be learning during the rest of your time? What's your current skill set and skill level?
And finally, can you give us a few examples of other successful thesis projects from your department, so we have an idea of the scope you're looking for? Degree programs vary widely, especially in the balance between theory and practice that's expected from a thesis project. Are you supposed to contribute something novel to the field, or instead produce an example of current practice? Are you supposed to answer a question?
