I am interested what is the best way to create mock objects and use them in JUnit testing. I would like to use ANT to run the JUnit tests, does book cover automating test cases???

Yep. There are about 6 chapters covering mock objects. Chapter 5 explains how to automate JUnit tests using Ant, Maven and Eclipse. Then, there are at least 3 chapters showing it in action on different projects.
