Position Description:
� Development and management of the product development group including, software developers, programmers, DBA's, data analysts, quality assurance and documentation staff
� Leading edge product development and enhancement of software applications for the health care industry
� Work closely with the product and project managers to share product direction, define specifications and keep multiple feature teams running in a coordinate fashion
� Enhance and refine the product development process
� Delivery of enterprise-class, scaleable, transaction-based web applications with the ability to support millions of subscribers
Position Requirements:
� 5 + years experience in system architecture, implementation and project team environment
� Proven track record of technical lead experience with demonstrated leadership and organization sills in delivering commercial software
� Extensive experience in systems/software architecture and exposure to various software development methodologies
� Experience in recruiting and developing technical staff- effective balancing of internal and external resources
� Solid leadership, communication, planning and analytical skills
� Demonstrated experience designing complex products using object-oriented technology, Internet security experience preferred
� Strong knowledge of C++,
Java, HTML, SQL and web development technologies
� Experience with web programming, knowledge of NT platform
� Team- and detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communications skills
� BS in computer science or electrical engineering
Salary Range: $150K - $225K plus stock options and annual bonus.
