How can i execute javascript function

Hi
I am new to this Httpunit,so i am getting so many doubts
I have validate() javascript function in my jsp

while i perform testing using Httpunit, i want to call this validate function directly.
How can i do it
Can any one help on this topic

I am posting doubts,but no one giving reply.Why i am not understanding
Is it problem of way of asking or any one is not facing the same??
In this site only i am seeing faster reply for most of the other questions

Why would you want to execute a validate() function directly? Isn't this supposed to happen automatically when the user submits a form?

Anyway, you might want to see if WebResponse.getScriptableObject() would lead you to a solution.
