Senior Server Application Engineer (San Francisco)

Affected by the up - down mania? Feeling angst as a

Let us assuage your existential angst. Fluid, Inc. is an
established, rock solid Internet design + development firm.
We've been doing the Internet thing since the days when "dot
coms" didn't exist and the projects were done by super
talented visionaries working surreptitiously in hotbeds
(otherwise known as garages, basements, and scrappy, real,
live work spaces). Maintaining that vision and feel, we
have been around the block more than a few times to sustain
a profitable, challenging and supportive environment; one
where the projects and attention to client work rivals the
attention we give in supporting the lives of our employees.

Here's the dry corporate speak:

Fluid, Inc. is a full-service Internet design, development
and consulting firm with eight years of experience designing
thoughtful eBusiness solutions for a broad range of clients,,,,
and to name a few. Fluid's integrated
blend of strategic, creative, and technical services is

advantage through the development of a comprehensive
eBusiness solution. Fluid's in-house expertise spans
Internet marketing and financial business strategy, general
Web, broadband and interactive media design and production,
and Internet application development. Specific technical
capabilities include Perl, Java, JavaScript, dHTML, CGI,
C/C++, database design and programming. Third-party
application experience includes Netscape server platforms,
