JAVA TECHNICAL LEAD/MANAGER<?B>


A Java Technical Lead/Manager is responsible for leading a project through the engineering life cycle of the project. This position requires a delicate balance of innovative thinking, organization, leadership, and technical prowess. The responsibilities of this role can vary greatly depending on the interests and experience of the person, and also on the project at hand. The ideal candidate would be comfortable contributing to project strategy, leading the functional design of the system, and also actively contribute to the development effort of the project.


REQUIREMENTS:<?B>


  • Two-years industry experience in engineering leadership role.
  • Two-years front-line coding experience with internet-related projects using Java, C++, or Perl. Some Java experience required.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients in a consulting role.
  • UML modeling tools - (Together/J, Rational Rose, or other toolkits)
  • Experience with ATG Dynamo, Bea Weblogic or other commercial application server. EJB knowledge also desired.
  • Wide breadth of technical skills/knowledge, including Unix/NT.
  • Strong project management skills. MS Project a plus.
  • Ability to lead and delegate work.
