SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Simi Valley office of the Life Science Products Group is currently looking for an experienced and motivated individual for a senior software engineering position. The candidate must have the ability to work with a team of software and quality assurance engineers to develop graphical visualization and data mining software for a new database development project. The candidate will prepare design documents for software development activities and must have a strong software technical background in C, C++ and Windows GUI programming. The candidate must be self directed, resourceful, organized and be able to work from high level customer requirements documents. The candidate must understand and apply software engineering principles with the ability to design, implement, and debug complete solutions. Minimal travel may be required.
The individual must have at least 3 years programming experience in Windows NT, MFC, C, and C++ and one year experience in database programming in C++ with ADO. The candidate should be able to utilize COM components and have experience in windows GUI programming. VB programming and a biological background is desirable.
BSCS or equivalent is required
