I hated that book! I found it very repetitive and dry and lacked good examples.

Laojar,
I have been thinking about to buy that book(UML Distilled) since so many people recommended it. Could you tell me the reason why you hate that book and you doubt about it's not written by those big guys? Thanks.

no doubt, that book is very difficult to finish. In so many months i cud finish only half of it.
its a good book, but could have been more precise.
who has so much patience to read about theories on uml?
uml distilled is much much better.

Anil . Absolutely correct choice. Comprehensive , yet simpler , yet small. Great book by Great Author , Mr. Martin Fowler.

please read the review written none other than our great sheriff Paul wheaton in our Bunkhouse Page.
Then , start with Craig Larman's book.
I hope this will help you.
Your Friendly Bartender
Shailesh
