I guess that the definitive starting point would be Martin Fowler's book "Analysis Patterns", plus his website (martinfowler.com).
Hope this helps,
Panagiotis.

The Design Patterns Java Companion can be downloaded here. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it looks interesting.
While I was searching for it, I found this: http://maths.napier.ac.uk/recall/modules/Downloads/Grand/
While searching for anything, I heartily recommend Northern Light
Paul R
Addendum: Oops. Those are for Design Patterns, not Analysis Patterns. Sorry about that

How often one uses Analysis Patterns in the project.I can understand the use of Design patterns, but Analysis Patterns - is it as comprehensive as Design Patterns?
Thanks in advance,
Sandeep

please go through the patterns given on Mr. Fowler's site & you will find them as comprehensive & productive as design patterns are .or you can buy Mr. Fowler's book. Great book to keep on shelf.
I hope this can be useful.
