hi
i am planning to study uml, can anyone tell me with which book i should start? and which book is good for uml certification. i am currently working as a programmer and i have no software engg. experience. so is it advisable for me to take up something like uml certification.

I suggest you to start studing. After you can decide by yourself if you want to certify or not.
