Hi,
How long did it take you to prepare for the exam, starting from the basics? Is the exam that difficult to take, especially to those who don't have UML project eperience?
Is "3 to 4 weeks preparation" enough?
Thanks

Hi David,
It depends on how much of exposure/experience you have on OOAD principles. If you are from structural programming background you may find to pass this exam with 3 - 4 weeks of preparation. On an average keep 2 months time to prepare for this test.
Hope this helps,
Sandeep

Hi,
Basically my background is Java OO programming. I just lack exposure in analysis, design and UML.
I've finished Test 406 (WAS3.5) by IBM. I'm really trying beat the Dec 31st deadline, I am really hoping I could take 486 earlier than that, so I could get the Solution Developer title. I've been always been dreaming of getting that title.
