There are multiple openings with the broad guidlines listed below. The salary expectations, depending on experience and level of expertise, could range from 75-250K (NO KIDDING)total compensation. The majority of these positions are based in Denver, CO. Other locations include Portland, Seattle and Milwaukee.
For the positions that are on the higher end of the salary range, we are looking for the "Best of the Best". This is a group that includes some of the most talented SW engineers IN THE WORLD and will be creating long term development methodologies for international Fortune 500 clients. The National eBusiness Technology Practice represents a broad collection of technology professionals experienced in architecting web based business solutions. The Practice provides leadership within the organization by developing intellectual capital, setting standards, assisting with sales efforts, providing skills transfer, and providing technology leadership on the most complex and high profile client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
The eCommerce Team will focus on the development of B-to-B and B-to-C commerce-based skills, intellectual capital, sales assistance, and key engagement leadership. Beyond the eCommerce package specialization, the team will focus on building expertise in XML and Java.
Explore applications that are being deployed based on Internet protocols, and provide clients with custom Internet based or Internet-enabled applications. Work on the migration of existing applications and technologies onto Internet-based architectures. Focus leadership and technical abilities in the following areas:
- Analysis of current processes and systems.
- Functional design of the solution.
- Scripting
- Integration with legacy business application and databases.
- Customization of electronic commerce solutions.
- Integration and customization of the application and databases.
- Provide consulting services to assist customers in the successful implementation and usage of solutions.
- Provide consulting in systems architecture, implementation strategies, data modeling, and customization, particularly in the course of integrating solutions with other business systems and communications technologies.
- Ensure delivery, installation, and performance tuning of solutions.
Role Requirements
This role requires experience architecting and implementing large, complex web based IT projects. The successful individual will have hands-on experience in some or all of the following technologies:
- 7 to 10 years total IT industry experience.
- 2+ years B-to-B or B-to-C Internet/web applications development experience.
- Significant experience with distributed programming technologies including COM/DCOM, Corba/Java/C++, EJB and/or J2EE.
- Significant experience with sell side and/or procurement side eCommerce applications such as IBM's Net.Commerce or Broadvision.
- Multiple platforms experience (IBM S/390, UNIX, AS/400, NT, etc.)
- Middleware and application development experience (MQ Series, Tuxedo)
- Project management/team lead experience preferred.
Education:
The individual in this role should possess a BS or BA from an accredited university.
