Hi,
Why is this weeks giveaway book titled "Bitter java". Is it bitter?

This book will tell us the bitter experiences of those who failed before us. I guess thats where the title comes from. Hope the author to give more accurate explanation.
Sounds like another AntiPatterns book. Check out the publisher's page.

I had thought the idea was obtain "better" java by avoiding the "bitter" anti-patterns...

Hi Pradeep,
It is bitter b,coz it talks about where do things go haywire when using J2SE, J2EE package of java and what we need to take care of to come out sucessfully implementing these in our project....so a learning curve the bitter way that's why it is bitter java.
