In my project i have a 3 tier architecture one is the client the other is server and third is a firewall. Now my task is my server has to get periodical updates from the firewall.and the server shud post it to the client.
Now for this purpose im using a thread .To model this situation what type of diagrams u suggest.Is a sequence diagram is enough.Suppose if for a syncronous model does sequence diagrams supports.
I heard of petrinets how far they can solve my problem
