If an enterprise web application has some of its sub systems fully implemented . What questions or points or factors
should be considered when thinking of extending the functionality of the System by adding a subsystem.
Please , all ideas/references are welcomed ...

I guess one thing I always think of when extending a system is how modular are the components already implemented. Further, lets hope that there was good OOP design up front that allows us to extend what we have. So I ask- are the subsystems built in such a way that they can be extended easily?
