Self-study Curriculum Software Developer
Art Technology Group (ATG) combines the spirit of a start-up with the stability of an Internet veteran. A pioneer in the e-commerce industry, ATG has consistently set itself apart as a leader in delivering Web applications built specifically for the needs of the growing e-business marketplace. Since its founding in 1991, ATG has enabled Global 1000 companies to revolutionize how they establish and maintain business-critical relationships with Web site customers. Through its ATG Dynamo Product Suite, ATG helps companies build and manage Web environments that use personalized content to promote customer satisfaction.
Our Customer Education Group is expanding rapidly -- and with this growth comes tremendous opportunity.
The Self-study Curriculum Software Developer will build a complete set of self-directed training materials, the purpose of which is to prepare and certify engineers in the use and implementation of the ATG Dynamo suite of products. This is a technical, hands-on position that includes both the writing of training materials and the development of reference e-commerce solutions. This position includes the scripting of lessons which guide the engineer through the creation of an e-commerce site, with the intent of providing hands on experience exercising and implementing Dynamo functionality. This person will implement a solution set, including the development of Java code and (j)html pages. Additional responsibilities may include research, mentoring, and the generation of data to supplement the standard ATG Dynamo documentation set.

Qualified candidates must have:
Excellent writing skills.
Java experience or a comprehensive background and understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design.
Very nice to have:
Curriculum development experience.
Experience in training/teaching or the development of training materials.
Technical writing experience.
HTML experience.
E-commerce background.
ATG offers an excellent compensation package, including a competitive base salary (to 90K depending on experience), bonus plan, stock options, stock purchase plan, and other great benefits.
Contact Matt Loughran (mgl@atg.com) with a copy of your resume for immediate consideration.

What could go wrong in a swell place like "The Evil Eye"? Or with this tiny ad?
