In addition to chapter 3: The Decorator Pattern, will there be some more sample chapters?

Hello Elisabeth,

I have a very simple question. How do you choose the sample chapter ?

If by "choose" you mean how do you get to it, use this link:

http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/hfdesignpat/chapter/ch03.pdf

If you mean, how did we choose which one to put up there - well, we picked a chapter that wasn't too long, and that other people seemed to really like!

We don't plan on offering other sample chapters for now, but we'll keep that in mind.

If you read the TOC and chapter 3 you will get an excellent idea of what this book is like! It's ALL just like chapter 3! If you want even more to look at, you can get a couple of samples of the HF Java book also on the O'Reilly site. Those samples are more for beginners than the patterns book, but they do give you an idea of the HF style!

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
