This position requires 3 to 6 years of professional technical experience including 2 years or more of hands-on development with either:
ASP, VB, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS, MTS, SQL Server or,
Java, C++, WebSphere, Weblogic, EJB CORBA, servlets, or applets
As a Web Application Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team to develop leading-edge internet applications for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on full life-cycle projects including Requirements, Design, Build, Test and Implement phases. You will be able to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, identify and describe technical design concepts, understand and apply data and object modeling concepts, design individual application components, develop guidelines and standards to support programming, provide programming assistance to team members, develop complex program modules based on high-level requirements, develop test scripts, test conditions, and expected results based on requirements, support implementation and turnover of software to clients. The primary focus of your responsibilities is on fine-tuning technical skills, expanding business knowledge, and gaining leadership experience.
You should:
Have the ability to develop lasting business relationships with key client personnel.
Assist in setting up project logistics.
Manage your own deliverables and assigned tasks.
Exhibit strong interviewing skills.
Exhibit effective analysis skills.
Develop effective day-to-day written business communication.
Contribute to client reports and presentations.
Support client presentation delivery.
Support team members through on the job coaching.
Work on teams of at least 3 - 5 members.
Participate in 3 - 4 projects per year (on average).
Desired personal characteristics include strong interpersonal skills, high initiative, effective work/life balance, and team player.
Salary = +/- $70,000
