Hi,
I am new to UML and very much interested in learning all structural and behavioral diagrams. Can anyone please suggest me a good book or website to learn all these diagrams using Rational Rose.

I used "UML Distilled". I had tried the O'Reilly's "UML in a NutShell" book and found it very confusing.

Why bother with a book? Visit www.agilemodeling.com/artifacts for a free, online overview of a wide range of models include the 13 diagrams of the UML (which neither of the above books cover fully, BTW).

I felt the otherway around with 'UML in a nutshell' and do use it as a desktop reference.

But I do agree that you won't go wrong with pickingup "UML distilled". It sure is a masterpiece.

I tore through UML 2 Toolkit pretty quickly. The project included is pretty good too.

Certs: SCJP 1.4, RUP

 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
