I recommend that you go to amazon.com and search for SCJP or Paul sanghera under the books category and take a look at the SCJP book by Dr. Paul Sanghera. This book is being published in a few weeks. I'm recommending this because I used the SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera to pass my SCBCD certification exam. I really enjoyed that book. I did not know anything about the topics covered in the SCBCD certification exam. But, I passed the exam by just studying from his book.

Hi All:
I've found the SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera very useful. This book works well even for a beginner. The material is presented in a very cohesive way, and it's a very self contained book; all the concepts are explained and connected to the big picture. You also get an exam simulator with the book...I 'm very satisfied with this book...

I would recommend SCBCD Study Kit by Dr.Paul Sanghera from Manning. It's not an exam cram, but still very much focussed on the exam objectives...very cohesive and concise coverage.

I have found SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera as the best book for passing the SCBCD exam, whether you are a beginner or an expert. To the point, concise, but still enough depth.

Well, I guess we all are different in our tastes. I've found this an excellent book. It has everything one needs to pass the exam, and also I've found that the mateiral is presented in a logical learning sequence, so I can use it as a referecne book as well; it's not just an exam cram...But that's my opinion, of course.

I think SCBCD Exam Study Kit is the best deal in the town. Of course you have to figure it out for yourself acccording to your taste.

Just curious: if you don't think the book is good, how come you are trying to steel the ebook?

I think this is an excellent book. There is no physical CD with the book, but the CD material (the exam simulator, and the code) you can download from the website after you purchase the book. There is more info at:
