If you have seen the best documentary video "Home" about global warming, you would find a mention of this.

Continuing with my question above:
While when i try XSLT to display XML data, i dont see the effect again of the line 1.
i.e "Fried" is getting printed but the font-size & line-height attribute are not having the formatting effect on the xml result.

Hello,

I'm new to XML technology. i tried displaying content written inside an XSL-FO file & i could very well see the result. But all the while i couldnt see the effect of line 1 on content of line 2.

I have the below file saved as Demo.fo

Regards,

Hello Kiran,

I understand the call to farewell() will invoke the version overridden in Sub call, but why is the call to static method greeting() will invoke the method defined in Base class(inspite of the fact that both the reference variable & the object are of the Sub class type). Is it because the static method in Base class is hiding the static method in sub class?.

Thanks in advance.
Hello,

While reading about servlet life cycle in a book, i came across this:
Only a single instance of each servlet gets created with each user request resulting in a new thread that is handed off to doGet or doPost as appropriate.
I understand everything except the servlet being instantiated, can someone tell me what it means?

Thanks.

Hello,

I would like to know the difference between Object reference & Reference variable.

What i understand is that an Object reference is a variable storing the address of the object in the memory like
Dimension d = new Dimension();//here d is an object ref( can this also be called as ref variable)

Now,
Dimension d; // now can we call the d as reference variable of type Dimension

plz let me know if i'm goin wrong anywhere.

Thanks.

Congratulations!

Thats a great score.

Could you share on the preparation u made for the exam.
I would wish to know if we can have an empty interface, and what is the use of having such?

I wanted to know Conceptually, how a servlet works with the web browser, while solving the problems as was seen when CGI was used.
please brief the process, how a web browser implements servlets to answer multiple requests and responses.
