ya many times it happens mainly beacuse the design wasn't ready so you have nothing to code and then you will get all the requirements with just 1 week before the release..so you have to a lot of night outs.. anyway enjoy ur idle times it won't last long..

Hi, If going for some onsite is the main criterion then I think service companies are the best.Because even if u want to do an MBA or another MS u need lots of money and after spending close to 4 lacs here for M.Tech it's quite difficult to spend another 15-20 lacs within few yrs. I have seen so many of my friends (in TCS/CTS/INFY) going to US,UK,switz,germany..and so many places and I think they wud not have spent even half of what one wud have spent for his higher studies(MBA/MS). They earn money in 2 -3 yrs return back to india and settle here well.
So coming to the original posting instead of trying some bodyshoppers or doing higher studies one can join these service companies and wait for your turn(for onsite).

Hi, But how much can we actually save in singapore after the tax. Here in India if annual income for a person is 4 lacs INR.He will be receving around 24,000-28,000 per month after tax( the variation depends upon the company policies).So if the person stays in bangalore he can save around 20K-22K after rent and other things...

Hi All, My friend got a job in Infosys and he joined infosys recently.Now he got an offer from C-DAC Mumbai for Grade-2 as Asst Manager in Mumbai.He is impressed about the position there (Asst Manager). So, he is confued now whether to accept C-DAC or not. Can someone please give me some advice regarding this.
