Hi friends.

I have an XML file in the following format

The name tag represents the element and the source represents where I have to place the name tag.
I need to build a hierarchy in the following manner.

There can be 'n' level hierarchy with child elements. How to create a hierarchy in java?

Can you advice on this.

Thanks
Bala

Hi.

While catching exceptions is it advisable to print the stack trace by
e.printStackTrace(); or log the error message by e.getMessage()

try{
//Exception Code
}catch(NumberFormatException ne){
e.printStackTrace();
}

I feel that if I mention e. then the log file size is getting bigger.
which is advisable?

I need some details...with respect to the XML parsers listed below.

Out of these Parsers which one is good and why we need to go for it
(SAX, DOM, STAX,JAXP, Digester)

Advantages and disadvantages.. (Like STAX is good for parsing but in case of validation it doesnt support schema it supports schema but with the help of XMLBeans )

Basically I want to accomplish tasks like

1. Convertion of XML to Object
2. Object to XML
3. Validate xml with Schema

Thanks

Hi,

I have a query in JMeter.
I have a struts application, In that the home page contains
2 fields(text box) username and password
and a Submit button.
Now I want to test by giving values for the 2 textboxes and to check whether it displays the actual page
That means by giving correct username and password it should show the main page or some error page
Sorry for poor english

hi,

What is the purpose of having an interface and its methods defined as being abstract? To me, this is completely redundant:

abstract interface sampleInt {
public abstract display();
}
If it's an interface, of course you have to implement its definition - which is what being abstract means. What is the point of basically specifying the same thing twice?
