Hi,
I have an chat application which uses AJAX. In this, if I enter a URL in I will have to convert it into a link when it gets displayed in the display area. How do i do this using JavaScript??

I tried the telnet stuff and it is connecting. but my application is not working. I cannot get the IP address. The name is correct though!!

Thanks Rahul. I found out that the port number. But still my application seems to have a problem. Is there any problem regarding my protocol???

No it does not accept. I tried it out. I tried printing the contents of the Property file and it prints the value properly but it does not pass on the value to Transport.

I actually took the code from the net. It is available at

It needs the mail.jar and activation.jar in the classpath

Hi,
I have been trying to send a mail from my application. It tries and fails every time giving an exception

Cannot send email. javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: inmumm05.tcs.com, port: 25
javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;

I have a property file which contains all the data to be sent. Here I have mentioned the port number but it does not seem to have an effect. It always says port 25. Please help.

What I want to know is how to use the API in WSAD. Including the zip file in the java build path also does not help.

Hi,
I had downloaded the POI API from jakarta for manipulating Excel files. I am using WSAD and I am left clueless as to how to use the API. I have the zip file of the package. Please help me use the API!!!

I am using IBM jdk in which the j2ee.jar does not have the javax.mail.util package at all. i was using 1.3 before. Now I am using 1.4 now there is another error saying that

java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/mail/SendApp (Unsupported major.minor version 48.0)

Please help!!!

I am trying to write an application to send mails. It is throwing an exception
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/mail/util/SharedByteArrayInputStream

I am using IBM jdk for development. How am I supposed to correct this error???

Hi,
I have an xml file which i run using ANT in WSAD. But the following error keeps occuring.

[importExistingProject] BUILD FAILED: file :/BIB2/KDE BUILD/KDE BUILD/KDE_all.xml:119: Could not create task or type of type: importExistingProject.

My target in the xml file is something like
<target name="import" depends="init">
<!-- ***** ADD YOUR JAVA PROJECTS HERE ***** -->

<importExistingProject directory="${project.folder}\KDE BATCHES" />
<importExistingProject directory="${project.folder}\KDE BT EAR" />
</target>

The xml file was not written by me. Please help me..
