We upgraded to JDK 5u22 OR JDK 1.5.0_34 JRE and we started getting the below error,

Proxy returns "HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentication Required">
java.io.IOException: Unable to tunnel through proxy. Proxy returns "HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentication Required"
at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.doTunneling(HttpURLConnection.java:1528)

Do I need to set any explicit settings for proxy to fix this, since the same was working fine in JDK 1.5_06, Thanks

Jeanne,

This is a new WebService and I thought of developing in a Test Driven Development approach, so I need to write test case using Junit first.

Any help in writing Junit testcases for Weblogic webservices is appreciated.

Thanks,
Ganesh

My application is consuming a WebService using Weblogic 9.x, I want to write test cases using Junit for the webservices I consume using weblogic.
I have Eclipse integrated with weblogic and Junit for development.

Can you please share some examples or usefull links for me to start with.

Thanks,
Ganesh

Kindly share if you are aware of any 'free' Eclipse plugin which is used to "debug" web based J2EE applications.

Thanks

class Super
{ int index = 5;
public void printVal()
{ System.out.println( "Super" );
}
}
class Sub extends Super
{ int index = 2;
public void printVal()
{ System.out.println( "Sub" );
}
}
public class Runner
{ public static void main( String argv[] )
{ Super sup = new Sub();
System.out.print( sup.index + "," );
sup.printVal();
}
}

ANS: (5, sub)

Iam clear about "sub" as ouput, but not clear how "5" comes as output

Thanks for your reply,
Ganesh

My requirements are,
It is a two-way, asynchronous communication.
It should be very fast.
The technologies i already have are RMI, SOAP, HTTP.

From my requirements can you figure out which suits me best.
Iam ready to implement JMS or TCP/UDP or any other best suited mechanism, but not Database
