Apart from Joe said, the other potential area is executing a block of code infinitly. Pls look at the loops and recursive function calls in the code. If this is happening after a recent production code release, concentrate on the release code changes.

Thank you one and all. BCD is my next step.

I've passed SCWCD exam on 09/30 Saturday with 86%. I followed HFSJ for the exam. HFSJ helped a lot to understand the concepts quickly. Followed Javaranch SCWCD links for mock exams. My mock scores are 75% in javaranch, 70% Anand Chawla, 61% in HFSJ. I've refereed specs as and when I've doubts. Thanks to you all in javaranch.
