Hi Friends,

I am not good at DB side, so i would like to take your help. Below query taking so much time to featch the results. Can anyone show me the solution about how to optimise it.

Anybody implemented Valuelist Handler core J2EE pattern in your application?
If so, can you help me out as i need to display millons of serch results to the user? And i need to ask them to download all of them to excel and csv.

I have 100,000k records are coming in user search results and need to diplay them all in jsp. if i put all these records in memory, i am getting out of memory error.
so while googling i am able to find the solution - Valuelist Handler J2EE pattern.

but can anybody help how to do it with struts. Please link if any sample code are there.

I need your help for the scenario i am explaining here.

I have search form, from here user will search for the records by giving search options which will featch the records from the database. I am using display tag library to display them as a table in jsp. I am using this because i need pagination and exporting fetaures.

I am buillidng the collection object from the result set and put that object in session which i feed to display tag to display them.

But here the problem is, for small and medium no of records it is ok, but if the records are million i am getting out of memory or heap size error.

so I need your help to overcome this problem. Please rember i need to let the user to export the records in csv and excel and need to do pagination as it is very hard to see all the millon records in single page.

In my application values in the header fields is not passed to next page even i am using the hidden values for that.But same code is working in all servers except websphere.why, what is the reason.but if submit to the same page it is working fine.only the problem is sending the data from one page to another page,but it is working fine in oracle 10g and weblogic.

can anybody reply for this problem.

yes it is UML tool.by using this tool you can create UML diagrams by using code and it create the code if you give the diagrams .both vice versa.

I dont know how many design patterns are there.Just for example i am saying.just assume that.

I have set of java classes, for instance 100 java classes,in all these one design pattern is there.I don't know which one is design pattern.I want to know which one design pattern in all these classes.Is any specific features are there for to recognise the design pattern.Kindly tell me.

hi friends,

I have the textbox ,i am trying to enter the data.If i type first letter it should pulldown the data starting with that letter,so that i can select the particuler one in that list with out typing all the word.

Example one is like yahoo,

while sending the mail to our freind,in TO filed if we type letter 'r' it shows all the mails which starts with the letter 'r'.Then we can select the particuler mail id and send the mail to our friend.


like that i want to implement .Anybody can give idea to me to implement that type of facility for my application.
