Hi,

1. Create a DataSource Object: (this example uses an XML file as data source)

2. Compile your .jrxml file:

3. Create a JasperPrint object by filling in the compiled report with your data source:

params is your report parameter map.

4. Use any of the JasperExportManager or JasperPrintManager method to export or to print your JasperPrint object:

I hope this helped,

Hi,

are you using JR API or some other tool such as iReports to compile, fill in and export your reports?

If you use the API, why not call
three times on the same JasperPrint object? Working on the same JasperPrint object saves you the compilation and filling overhead for each extra copy...

I hope this helped,

Ramses
I experienced similar problems while using jasper reports 1.1.0 and having xerces 2.2.1 in my classpath. Removing it and upgrading xerces to 2.7.1 both solved the issue.

I hope this helped,

Ramses
