Could someone please tell me how could i stop the server ?

I have been asked to put up a white paper on spring
I have no idea on how to pit up a white paper onany technology.

If any one can provide me links to some good white papers on spring or even any other technology it would be of great help

I am getting a strange error .
The request.getScheme() is returning "https:" instaead of returning https .
I have earlier in the past seen that getScheme() is returning http instead of https or vice versa but dont know why its returning https:

If any one has come across the above situation please let me know .

thnks for the reply mark .... i have seen threads where you have mentioned repeatedly that CFA etc are an "overkill" for developement ... thats is fine but as that is considered to be the toughest in the market , wont it be a differentiater , same is for LOMA/AHM in insurance/healthcare market ??

I have been working for a top 3 MNC as java / j2ee Software engineer for the past 1 year.
I need a little bit of guidance about how should i plan the next few years so that I can look for a MBA programme from a TOP 10 univ in US.

I have some doubts :
1)
would 6 years of experiece in top 10 mnc's ( 2-3 promotions ) look better than 6 years of an lesser known firm ( maybe 4-5 promotions ) or vice versa ??

2)
I dont know but does certifications carry any weight in getting inside top MBA college ,for e.g. certs like CFA/CPA in finance sector , AHM / LOMA in insuarnce domain. If I aggressively pursue them on top of my technical knowledge , and then can explain the correalation between the two worlds . Would it help ?

3)
Does US colleges prefer US MNC's or indian MNC or indian small firms?

ok so that answers banking and insurance but what abt healthcare ...

what is the difference between the domain of financial services with that of banking , insurance or healthcare. does financila services encompass all these. are there any projects that incorporate more than one domain say banking and insurance .....

i am not sure if can speak much abt the architecture .. but let me ask in a generic way .... for ejb apps , we have a database ... so when we implement persistance concepts we map those concepts over a db .... now when mainframes provide the data the situation becomes altogether different .. this is what i want to know how is the interaction between ejb and mainframes done .. is it through JCA ?? if anyone can provide some references it would be very helpful

Can someone tell me how much integration dow e have between EJBs and mainframes in any app.Mainframes act as database for large organizations and EJBs act as the business tiers . so are these two normally integrated in a single app or are these two different things ?
actually I work on a spring app with MFs as backends and does not know if ejbs fit into it ? ejbs are distributed components whereas mainframes are completely oppsite.
if someone can also provide some good articles it would be really beneficial.
