I got the way at last.Thanks to my guide Mr.srinivas.
Here dir is the location of the source file and all the files inseide this are listed,then it will be attached to the remaining things u know and will check whether it exists or not.

I want to get a class file which is stored in one location like
"C:/m1/m2/m3/m4/m5/.../m10/stcm.class" and i stord my java source file in another location called "C:/m1/m2/m3/m3/StringComparison/m4/m5.../m10/stcm.java".I want to copy the class file and source file to other location called " C:/m1/m2/".
This is my case and know the location of class file exactly and in case of java file i dont know the intermediate dir ../StringComparison/... and it is not a staic one.According to the filename it will change,that is, if my clas name is "lemd" then the dir name is "LengthMethod".
Pls help me to get it.Very Urgent.

i've to copy all the files in one directory to some other dir.
I can copy the files if and only if i know the filename and its extension.I may know the dir exactly but not the files inside and these files are with different extension.This program will have to work in java1.3,1.4 & 1.5 also.Pls help me to get it rite way.

I have "segmentation Fault" in opening the vi editor.Meanwhile i used the "vi -i myfile.java". But got the same error.How to reset the vi -i command.this -i option is giving viminfo as

I'm having the Vim6.2.it was working fine for these adys. But i'm trying to copy a file from one location to other using java program.Today i got the fault as

Vim: Caught deadly signal SEGV
Segmentation fault

But i can execute the proram and it can copy the files.But after that i couldn't able to enter into vi editor.Pls tell me the way to recover it.
