Hi All,
Passed the test today with 94%. Test was pretty easy, but they almost make sure you don't get a 100 by asking a couple of tricky ones.
I prepared for almost a month, reading the exam study kit by Hanumant deshmukh and Jignesh Malavia(which is very good and should be enough to get you through easily). The book also contains a CD with the JWebPlus test which is very useful.
Best Luck to all future takers and my thanks to all for their guidance and help.

Hi,
You might have to place xerces.jar in the lib folder of the Web application (WEB-INF/lib). You can download xerces.jar from http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-j/ .

Hi Nitin,
Static methods can definitely be overridden but only by static methods. I think the reason abstract methods can't be static is that then they can be referenced (called) directly without instantiation of the class.
eg. if "method1()" is abstract & is allowed to be static then it can be called directly as follows "Classname.method1()" & since it doesn't have any body it doesn't make any sense. i guess that is the reason.
i guess Hima that also answers ur query.
cheers sanjiv
