I have a query related to programming using interfaces.
Have a look at the following code.

Interface A {
void detect(int a, int b);
}

public class B implements A{
public void detect(int a,int b){
}
}

I have another Class which implements the interface A , but i need to pass an extra parameter as part of it. How can i accomplish that ?

Can anyone suggest the best pattern ?
try eUML2 , its really nice . we are using this for our project.
Can you please post the copy to me at kollipara.naveen@gmail.com

Hi croiser,

Will u please provide some link r some stuff reg tht the System.out.println("xxx") wont create an object on SringPool. Iam also not sure whether it is r not.

Thanks in Advance

Sorry for delayed entry ..

First of, actually it doesn't matter because all classes extend from java.lang.Object anyway and you can't create an object from an interface.

we can create an object with interface like

Runnable r=new Runnable(){ public void run(){} };

Then wht is the super class for this ??
I think it is the object.
Restarting a thread is nonsense because on a total the start method is called only once.

I think we can call methods on deadthread like thread.isAlive()

So i think Mistroni is right.

Comments ??

Naveen.
On a total i think three String Objects are created.

LineNo) ObjectsCreated

1) abc,def,abcdef

2) 0( "abc" created previously is used)

3) 0( "def" and "abcdef" created previously are used )

Girish,

I got ur point.
But at the time of calling which one is called super/sub class

Super -> SuperClass
Sub -> SubClass

1) Super s1=new Sub();

2) Sub s2=new Sub();

I think in case1 the staticmethod in SuperClass is called
in case2 the one in SubClass is called.

Am i Right??
