Just passed with 75% this afternoon!

Studied ~3 weeks the following:

* EJB3 In Action (read cover to cover)
* Raghavendra Balgi's Last Minute Notes

Also used Sun's "Free Assesment", although I scored 30% on this the day before the exam.

I've now completed SCJP, SCJD, SCWCD, SCBCD and now to move onto the SCEA...
Finally finished my assignment and just took the exam. That's 3 years and 2 months! Perhaps a record?

I feel like the last guy who's passing the marathon finish line in the dark after everyone has gone home. Thanks for the support and for encouraging not to give up! Keeping my fingers crossed, hoping I'll pass

I'm going on 3 years from downloading my assignment (I barely have any free time as I work ~60hr a week on my real job). Has anyone had any success submitting in such a long time-frame? I'm just worried that they'll be more stringent with the idea that he's had so much time to work on it (which I haven't). Finally have a short break at work and am hoping to complete the assignment at nights.
Aloha Andrew,

Sounds like it would be OK to submit after March 29th as long as it compiles under JDK 5. I'll work to get it done before then just to be safe.

Mahalo,
Kimo
Am I too late to submit a solution to the URLyBird 1.2.1 assignment? The instuctions state:

"Throughout this exercise, you must use exclusively the Java 2 platform. You may develop your code using any implementation of the Java 2 platform, but the submission that you return must have been tested and shown to work under a production (not development) version of the Sun Microsystems' Java 2 platform and that platform must not have been superseded by a new production version for more than 18 months by the time you make your submission."

Now no Java 2 platform exists that was not superceeded by a new production version as Java 5 was released more than 18 months ago (Sept 29, 2004). Do I need to buy another exam ??

I've put alot of work into my solution over time, but I've been swamped with work for the last few months and haven't had time to finish it.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
