Hi Shashank
Even though the reference type is Person in servlet but the object is of type of Employee.
So, you can mention reference type as Employee in usebean.

Hi All

I have cleared SCWCD few days back.
I want to start for new certification but I am confuse between SCDJWS or SCBCD.
I have few queries over here:

1. I have heard that we are going to have SCBCD 3.0 very soon. So, is it worth while to wait for it.

2. Is there any chance that we will have any higher versio of SCDJWS in near future say in year or two

It will really nice of you if you give some pointer which can help me in selecing one from the above two.

Over here I just want to emphasize on a fact that I don't have any practical experience of Java.

Thanks a ton in advance
Amit
Even I was thinking the way you do but I saw a question on Javaranch where someone supported the way of maintaining session without passing session data bet. client and server.

Question I was refering is:
1) which session management technique does not transfer session information between a client and server?
a. URL rewriting.
b. Cookies.
c. Servlet session API.
d. Hidden Fields

Answer suggested is "c" but as per my understanding none is applicable.

Given below is the link to that mail:

Hi to All
Please let me know what is "Servlet Session API".
Someone on JavaRanch said that we don't require the passing of session related info. between clinet and server if we use this API.

Is it true?

Amit

Hi All
Please let me know the answer for the belwo mentioned mock-question:

Identify the authentication techniques that are based on builtin mechanisms of HTTP.

Select 2 correct options
a HTTP does not have any built in mechanism for authentication.
b BASIC
c CLIENT-CERT
d DIGEST
e FORM

Answer: b,d

My query is why option e is wrong.

Amit
congrats....
Ultimately what matter is that one should clear the test and you have already done this.

Congrats once again.
Hi All
Please let me know whethere we can configure all the listener in single listener tag like
<listener>
<listener-class>com.MyServletContextListener</listener.class>
<listener-class>com.MyServletContextAttributeListener</listener.class>
</listener>

or we have to define them separately like

<listener>
<listener-class>com.MyServletContextListener</listener.class>
</listener>

<listener>
<listener-class>com.MyServletContextAttributeListener</listener.class>
</listener>

Hi Navat
Answer given on P660 (HFSJ) is perfectly allright.

You can even achieve the same goal using your answer but it is not a good way of doing it.

Amit
well, the statment was written as such is the mock exam.
So, can't do anything in this case.

So, please try to see the statment as such and validate it please.

Amit
Hi All
Please help me to understand the statment "There can be multiple instances of the listener class configured in the web.xml"

In what case this situation is possible?

Regards
Amit
