I am really looking for how do I bind values of each Object in the Collection, marked as a value of the Data Table to a component in a column, and then add the column to the dataTable.

Anyone please advice.

Thanks.

I was trying to implement dynamic table. I was not able to bind the column values. For some reason the binding values were always comming in as null.
Here is the code

ListData.java : Data Class

DataProvider.java

DynamicDataTable Bean.

I got a work around by using sendRedirect("destinationPage"); in the constructor, however I am not too sure if using sendRedirect or forward is a good practice in JSF.

Anyone please advice.

I am in a situation where I need to implement a redirect from the construtor of a managedBean.

For instance :
Page 1 : Has a Name Search feature. Search results navigate to Page 2.
Page 2 : Has Extra information about the name based on DB querries from the DB in the page constructor. To Load data requried to display in Page2. There are hyperlinks on each information on this page that goes to the third Page. Once the information is worked, the related information linked to the name is removed from the DB and I will navigate to Page 2.

The problem that I am not able to resolve is, in the construtor of Page 2 when the DB queries donot return any more information on the name, I need to directly go to Page 1. How can I redirect from the contructor of the second page's specific backing bean.

I tried using Navigation Handler, and setting specific rootView in context.
Netiher works when called from the constructor.

If I implement the PhaseListener, then would the pahse Listener logic be applied to all the other pages in the application ?

Please advice.

I am not able to view the parameter <f:param> that I pass in the the <h:commandLink>.
The backing bean was tried in both "Session" scope and "Request" Scope.
The Map Attribute I got were something like this :

"I am using actionListener and not action method", would this make a difference?

Please advice how can I pass parameters via. commandLink.

Thanks,

I am not able to find the original CSS for a hint and hence the post.
I was wondering if the existing CSS that has styles for my existing table and rows is somehoe overlapping the CSS-Class to be used by the t:inputCalendar tag.

I believe if I get a sample CSS that is applied to the tag, would suffice the solution for my problem.

hi Folks:

I am trying to implement the <t:inputCanledar>, but I am not able to change the look and feel of this calendar.

How can I do that Via. CSS. Please give me an example, for instance how do I change the following attribute's CSS Class, What should I have in the CSS definition ?

This is how I am using the tag :

so that the row Class background is Grey and width of the entire calendar is about 50% of page size (or any other size also ) ??

Just need an idea please.

Did you try using Ant Tasks ?
For example : the "clientgen" Ant task may serve your purpose.
What WL version are you working on ?

Hi :
Could some one tell me what is the purpose of exposing EJBs as webservices ?
I have read much about RPC way of implementing Webservices in Weblogic.

What I donot understand is why epose EJBs as webservices, when you can make a JNDI lookup with the EJB and call it as usual?

I know interoperability is one good reason, but then are there any other PROs for this approach.
