hi All,

Last week i cleared scjp1.4.Next iam planing for SCWCD.

Head First (Jsp & servlets) is enough for scwcd or is there anything
more i have to prepare.

My preparation steps

K&B - read twice
Round-up game
mock exams in javaranch site.

I think this is more than enough.
is there anything more i have to do

I log file have both my logs as well as struts log.
I need to disable struts logging.

i can't understand the o/p

what i thought is
'Actually instance variables are initialised only after constructor is executed ie only after the object is constructed '

pls clarify

why above code is giving compilier error

instanceof operator check whether s refers to a String object at runtime

pls correct me if am wrong

To enable assertion-awareness at compile time

javac -source 1.4 <FILE_NAME>

To enable assertion-awareness at run time

java -ea <FILE_NAME>
or
java -enableassertions <FILE_NAME>
