I can just make out some error in db connection, can someone help me with this as i am working with both ruby and MySql for the first time.

When you use abstract classes, its tight coupling .....you are complying to the abstract class behavior. But in case of interfaces its the loose coupling. In lava multiple inheritance is not there, so if you are extending the (only) superclass, its behavior is being restricted to that specific superclass.

lets take an example you have an abstract class bird and few interfaces as fly, swim, squeak. You make a class crow extending bird now crow class has its core behavior as bird, you can make this crow either fly or swim or squeak or any combination of these. Hence abstract classes usage should be minimal and interfaces usage is encouraged.

Point taken, but there is a problem i am using a propriety web framework which only supports javascript and uploading a file is not supported so i got a upload bean from google results . So i want to use that bean from javascript either from a javascript page or a servlet.

I am a novice to these frameworks and just started with few of them, can anyone just let me know or give me some links for comparison between ejbs, struts and spring.

Why ejb usage is not so appreciated and why frameworks keep on evolving day by day?
